We acknowledge the Ngunnawal People, the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, create, and grow. We pay our respects to the elders past, present, and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, and the culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the nation.
Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

COLLEEN FRANCES - NIGHTSCAPES
26 June to 9 July
Standing under ancient starry skies, walking under silvery moonlight I am drawn to the subtle variations that emerge after sunset—the shifting gradients of deep blues, the quiet tension between stillness and movement, and the way light reveals itself sparingly. Stars, clouds, and atmospheric haze are treated not as fixed elements but as gestures. -

NEIL LADE – SOLO EXHIBITION
Opening Night Friday 24 July, on view until 6 August
Longtime Ainslie-based artist Neil Lade has juggled art and words since his early teens. His painting and sketching have been his main therapeutic escapes for decades. Fitting art into everyday life was a crazy juggle for a long time as journalism and family life took over. Now in his mid-70s and happily retired, he devotes more quality time to his art.
The artist says:
My small and larger sketches usually begin life as works in black ink on paper. Some remain that way. Some images emerge later when I add colour by pen or acrylic paint. Some start with colour – by pen and/or acrylic paint. They are a mix of surreal, weird and comical – sometimes all three. -
