The Canberra-based emerging artist has grown from her experiences and education in local art spaces such as Lavender Art Studios, Studio MAP at M16 Artspace and as a graduate of the Canberra Institute of Technology.

This collection from the solo show ‘Petal After Petal’ presents a personal journey told through oil on canvas. Each painting weaves together florals and landscapes — some are real places, others exist only in the imagination.

As the artist says; “They are all spaces I long to be in: calm, open, quietly alive. I’m consistently drawn to vivid landscapes, floral forms, and the vibrancy of nature. My work blends traditional and experimental approaches - using texture, mixed media, colour, and light to evoke feeling and atmosphere. Each piece is a reminder to slow down and to appreciate the quiet, beautiful moments that often go unnoticed.”

Petal After Petal speaks to the slow, intentional process behind each piece. Every brushstroke is deliberate, and every painting is the result of many hours spent layering detail upon detail. There’s something captivating in the way the florals unfold across the canvas, as soft, and intricate.
